We had a perfect stay in this small hotel. the staff was incredibly nice and provided us with tips. 3. Our accommodation was set in a central location close enough to St Margaret's College, Bars & Restaurants, the centre of Christchurch and pleasant spacious gardens. 4. Enjoyed food selection, meals were fabulous and they have a great selection of options.

Units with a balcony. Had a shower and a bathtub in the bathroom. The location was favourable, at a medium distance from a compact museum. There were shopping centers and a supermarket around the hotel.

The concern and helpfulness of the owners. Christchurch suffered another earthquake on the afternoon we arrived (13 June). The owners told us to ring them any time we were worried, and put us in a ground floor unit. There was a strong aftershock in the early hours of the morning and the owner got up and came down to check that all guests were okay. They did everything they could to make us comfortable, despite the worry they must have about the quakes. We were safe and I'd recommend the motel to anyone.

Party of 8 (4 couples) stayed in the lodge and it was perfect. The comfy lounge chairs was perfect for us to chat and socialise in and the rooms were spot on. We also loved the close proximity to the spa and entertainment area.
The cook top was not the best and could be worth upgrading. The top shower was ok but for tall people the sloped ceiling beams was hazardous.
